Volunteer
Front-of-house Volunteers
At the Mainstage, we have a dedicated group of front-of-house volunteers who perform some of the most integral jobs in the theatre on a show-by-show basis. Duties include greeting patrons, scanning tickets, handing out programs and directing patrons to their seats. All volunteers have the opportunity to watch every show that they work, and they are required to stay after the show to help clean the theatre.
Please make sure to read the training guide prior to volunteering, because protocols and volunteer assignments may change.
Once you have read the procedures, you may sign yourself up for a shift via our SignUpGenius. A password is required in order to sign up. Regular volunteers are on an email list that receives the password and a link to the sign up page one week before a show opens. If it is your first time volunteering, email Page@TitusvillePlayhouse.com to be added to the email list or for any additional questions.
Behind the Scenes Volunteers
At the Titusville Playhouse, we have a dedicated group that makes the magic happen behind the scenes. These volunteers perform some of the most integral jobs in the theatre on a show-by-show basis. Duties include helping in the scene shop building/painting set pieces, sewing/altering costumes, running the spotlight and assisting costume/scene changes during a show. All shop volunteers have the opportunity to watch the invited dress rehearsal of the show they work on. All backstage volunteers (16+) receive a travel stipend at the conclusion of the run of a show.
For more information about getting involved at the Titusville Playhouse email Associate Artistic Director Niko Stamos at Niko@TitusvillePlayhouse.com.
